WHY A FESTIVAL?
After the great and unexpected success of the first National Online Event, “We are back … we are connected “, that took place in Rome on last October and in the current global health pandemic and not yet being able to organize in presence this year the coveted and dreamed “1st ANNUAL MEETING of SIAGASCOT”, we thought to offer our members and the whole Orthopaedic Scientific Community, a new initiative. The goal of this meeting is not only to “brighten” this first part of the year in which we still struggle with the raging pandemic but, above all, to offer a distinguished and innovative meeting with a modern “format”, suitable for the technologies and forms of communication most used in this historical period.
So not a traditional on-line meeting, not an over and over seen webinar, but an INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL! A scientific event able of containing and collecting many different and stimulating proposals.
An event to be enjoyed online, but not only, as a part of round tables, mini-battles and interviews will be performed “live” on the stage of the “Teatro dei Martinitt”, in Milan and in which programme you may find also Sessions recorded in other prestigious Italian scientific locations, such as the Rizzoli Institute of Bologna and the University Hall of UNICAMPUS in Rome.
An extremely various and captivating scientific proposal, in which each participant will be able to find something interesting or instructive to listen to.
Each Session will be a container of different scientific offers (Highlight Lectures, reports, relive surgery, mini-battles, round tables) and so much more.
The scientific program will run along two lines (The Festival and the Other Festival) and the different Sessions alter with interviews of great national and international experts, education courses, Highlight Lectures held by great masters, Awards sessions dedicated to young surgeons and clinical cases…
In conclusion, a Festival where you can satisfy your curiosity, have fun, train and above all learn.
Once again SIAGASCOT has put itself on the field with all the energy, imagination, competence and scientific and professional skills of all its men.
We are waiting for you to be numerous and connected on…. March 19-20,2021 because, to paraphrase the slogan of a very famous Italian Festival … “SIAGASCOT is SIAGASCOT”!
Perché un Festival?
Data la persistente impossibilità di poter organizzare anche quest’anno l’agognato e sognato 1st Annual meeting di SIAGASCOT “in presenza”, abbiamo pensato, dopo il grande e inaspettato successo del primo evento nazionale on-line ,”We are back…we are connected”, che si è tenuto a Roma lo scorso 24 ottobre, di offrire ai nostri Soci e in generale alla comunità scientifica ortopedica, una nuova iniziativa che “illuminasse” una prima parte dell’anno ancora profondamente condizionata dall’imperversare della pandemia, che soprattutto si distinguesse per un “format” innovativo, moderno, adatto alle tecnologie e alle forme di comunicazione più utilizzate in questo periodo storico.
Quindi non un meeting tradizionale on-line, non un webinar visto e stravisto, ma appunto un Festival internazionale! Un evento scientifico in grado di contenere e raccogliere tante diverse e stimolanti proposte. Da fruire on-line, ma che in parte (tavole rotonde, mini-battle, interviste) si svolgerà “dal vivo” sul palco del Teatro dei Martinitt di Milano e nel cui programma troverete sessioni registrate in altre sedi italiane prestigiose, come l’Istituto Rizzoli di Bologna e l’aula universitaria dell’UniCampus di Roma.
Una proposta scientifica estremamente varia ed accattivante, in cui ogni partecipante potrà trovare qualcosa di interessante o istruttivo da ascoltare.
Ogni Sessione sarà un contenitore di offerte scientifiche diverse (letture magistrali, relazioni, relive surgery, mini-battle, tavole rotonde) e non solo: il programma scientifico scorrerà su due linee (Il Festival e l’Altro festival) in cui alle sessioni si alterneranno interviste con grandi esperti nazionali e internazionali, corsi di istruzione , letture magistrali dei grandi maestri, aree dedicate agli Award per i più giovani e ai casi clinici… insomma ci sarà da sbizzarrirsi, divertirsi, formarsi e soprattutto imparare.
Ancora una volta SIAGASCOT si è messa in campo con tutta l‘energia, la fantasia, la competenza e lo spessore scientifico e professionale di tutti i suoi uomini.
Vi aspettiamo numerosi e collegati… il 19-20 marzo perché, parafrasando lo slogan caro ad un ben più famoso evento Italiano … “SIAGASCOT è SIAGASCOT”!
